Full Assessment
Full Assessment

During your pet's initial assessment, we will carry out a comprehensive musculoskeletal health check and make a record of our findings along with objective measures such as muscle mass, joint angles and weight bearing. We will also use this time to discuss your pet's history and your expectations of treatment which will enable us to develop an optimum treatment plan.

Manual Therapy
Manual Therapy

Manual techniques applied to specific areas of dysfunction and/ or restriction to release and mobilise tissues through methods of massage, myofascial release, passive range of motion, stretching and joint mobilisations.

Electrotherapy
Electrotherapy

We may utilise electrotherapies to aid our treatments when targeting specific tissues. Therapies we offer include Class 4 Low-level laser, therapeutic ultrasound, PEMF, TENS/ NMES and thermal therapies. Safety and contraindications for treatment will always be discussed prior to the application of electrotherapies.

Therapeutic Exercise
Exercise Therapy

Exercise prescription is an important part of physiotherapy treatment to help restore function and maintain independence. Progressive exercise plans are developed depending on the specific needs of the patient with consideration to the handler and home environment.

Hydrotherapy

Water-based therapies minimise weight bearing and concussive forces whilst promoting healing and strengthening. Our services include both a pool and underwater treadmill operated by fully qualified and experienced therapists.

On-going Support

What to Expect?

Physiotherapy forms the basis of all treatment plans.

All new patients will require a referral from their veterinarian prior to treatment commencing. From there, all new patients will undergo a thorough initial assessment with a fully qualified veterinary physiotherapist when they first arrive at our centre. The assessment process consists of a thorough history discussion, gait analysis and hands on palpation. From this, the optimum treatment plan will be developed with consideration of your pet’s medical history, current symptoms/ diagnosis and the goals of treatment.

Register your pet today using the link below. Once we have this information we can request a referral on your behalf (please let us know if you would prefer to do this yourself). As soon as we have a referral, we will be in touch to book in your pet’s initial assessment!
